YOUR PURPOSE IN LIFE

Hello my sweet,
I believe disabled people and people in need of special care are Angels. They are born to us so that we may learn some things about ourselves for example patience, tolerance and unconditional love. I heard a story this morning on the radio. I thought you would enjoy it. It goes like this: A few years back during a Special Olympics, a very endearing thing happened. About eight runners stood at the starting line of a short running race. When the race began, all but one boy sprinted forward. The little boy tripped, stumbled and fell. He got up, stumbled and fell again.
Upon hearing the boy wailing, the other racers stopped in their tracks. They ALL turned around and went back to the spot where the boy was sitting. Gently they took him by the hand and lifted him off the ground. Holding hands, they all walked TOGETHER to the finish line. The whole stadium cheered. For several minutes all you could hear was applause.... All you heard was thunderous applause!
It's a great lesson in unity. A lot of times we navigate life as if we're all alone in the world. We forget that we're in this together. Those children in the Special Olympics served to teach us this lesson. At times we may need to help another even if it means stopping, turning around or altering our course. Treat everyone with kindness, have a helping heart. Above all, love everyone as you would a sister or brother. We are ALL in this together.

GRATEFULNESS

 Hi Girl!
I can't believe I've never written on the subject of gratefulness. My dear, it's so, so important to have an attitude of gratitude. For everything in your life. Do not take life and your good fortune for granted. There are so many children who would wish for your life of privilege. You are a very loved child and will be denied nothing. You could just as easily have been born to another Mom, in a war zone or a Mom in a developed country, surrounded by the wealthy, only she was unable to feed or dress you.
It is imperative that every day you say a prayer of thanks and name your blessings one by one. Gratefulness is the key to abundance. The more appreciative you are, the more big-hearted the universe will be to you. Even the little things should not go un-thanked for.
I am grateful for the gift of love and laughter through my friends, family and extended family. I am much obliged for my continuous good health. I appreciate my well paying job, my life and level of comfort. I am glad that I never have to go hungry. Most of all, I am most appreciative because I have been blessed with peace of mind.
Be thankful for your trials. If you're being tested you're being perfected.

DON'T TRY SO HARD

Hi my lovely,
I think you'll enjoy this.

Amy Grant: Don't try so hard

Here are the lyrics:

Don't Try So Hard"
(with James Taylor)

Another Monday comes and I just wanna breathe
'Cause it's a long, long week for someone wired to please
I keep taking my aim, pushing it higher
Wanna shine bright, even brighter now
Wish I would tell myself

Don't try so hard
God gives you grace and you can't earn it
Don't think that you're not worth it
Because you are
He gave you His love and He's not leaving
Gave you His Son so you'd believe it
You're lovely even with your scars
Don't try so hard

Do you remember how the summers felt when we were kids?
Oh, we didn't think much about it, we just lived
Taking our time, beautiful leisure
When did we start, trying to measure up
And all this time, love has been trying to tell us
Don't try so hard
God gives you grace and you can't earn it
Don't think that you're not worth it
Because you are
He gave you His love and He's not leaving
Gave you His Son so you'd believe it
You're lovely even with your scars
Don't try so hard

Don't try so hard

Don't try so hard
God gives you grace
You can't earn it
Stop thinking you're not worth it
Because you are
He gave you His love and He's not leaving
Gave you His Son so you'd believe it
You're lovely even with your scars
Don't try so hard
