Ways To Relieve Stress

Hi Sweetie,
As you've noticed, living has a way of producing stress. Most of it you can manage and bear. However, sometimes it all gets to be too much and you will need to take a time out or else you'll lose your sanity. You don't want to go there. Auntie's been there and that's no place for a human being. It's a good thing though, because now when I see crazy coming down the street I recognize it and avoid it like the plague.
Take a few minutes and do one or a few of the following activities:

Reflect on what's going right, your positives.

Blow bubbles

Watch a sunrise or a sunset

Meditate

"Meditation is acceptance.
It is the acceptance of life within us,
without us and all around us"
Sri Chinmoy

Do deep breathing exercises

Take a long bath or shower.

Listen to a relaxation tape.

Give of yourself, volunteer.

Fix yourself a cup of hot tea.

Write a letter to a friend

See a movie.

Window shop

Go to the park, sit under a shady tree or just lie back and
watch clouds

Take a cat nap.

Take a walk in the rain.

Take a long ride to nowhere in particular.

Weed your garden.

Begin a new hobby.

Catch up with a family member.

Have a good laugh.

Go for a swim.

Sing or whistle your favorite songs.

Work on a puzzle, write creatively, draw or paint a picture

Do something, just for you e.g put flowers in your space. Go for tulips or orchids.

Remove Self-imposed Ceilings

Hello my love,
A ceiling,  according to some, is an overhead interior surface that covers the upper limit of a room. It is generally not a structural element but a finished surface concealing the roof structure above.

  • You can tear it down without threatening the structure of the house.
  • You can change it's height. Lower it or take it up higher.
  • You can decorate it to suit your taste.
  • Better yet, it doesn't have to be there!!

The same goes with life, darling. Many times you will find yourself facing imposing ceilings. Think of life as your own personal room. You put the ceiling there. You chose the color, the shape, the height, etc. Therefore, you can choose to remove it, redecorate it, reshape it, lower it, take it up higher, take it off all together, whatever you fancy.
Look at the ceiling as your own personal goals or even something that is blocking you from achieving your best or moving forward in your life.

Most people have self-imposed ceilings. People are stuck because they forget that they are the architects of these ceilings. They are the master designers of these ceilings. They, therefore, have the power to tear them down and build new ones.

You, my darling, have the strength to tear down ceilings and climb ever higher. Do not stand in your own way to success. Always be dreaming. When you achieve one dream, well, it's time to dream up a new one. Build yourself a new ceiling. C'mon, raise the roof, why don't ya?!! Why not, huh?

Here's the funny thing, if you temporarily give up your power and find somebody has redesigned your ceiling, you still have the power to wake up! And remove or remodel that ceiling. You have the power. Don't forget that.

Your life is glorious, your life is beautiful. Have total Faith, my dear and do your very best always.

Sometimes we need to just do the best we can and then trust in an unfolding we can't design or ordain. ~Sharon Salzberg.

Live Your Strongest Life

Little Jennifer,
In life, we find our strengths in the smallest details of everyday life. Allow your strengths to show up, to come through. Every day, get up, suit up and show up for your life. Be in attendance in your own life journey. If you're not in the driver's seat, who's driving? Why are you being led?

"A lesson from Suzane L. Taylor:

I WILL: CLAIMING OUR POWER TO CHOOSE.

We must refuse to see ourselves as victims, no matter what challenges we face. We are not limited by racism, sexism, ageism or any abuse that may have occurred in our lives. No challenge can diminish our spirit, nothing is more powerful than a mind made up.

The simple declaration, "I Will," is the beginning of all our triumphs."

Develop your life such that even your everyday actions infuse you with energy rather than drain you. Susan Choi once said: We should patiently tease apart the many strands of our daily existence, distinguishing those that actually make us happy.. from those that we have to eliminate as soon as we can.

Refuse to have a bad day, ever. Your strongest life consists of making a clear, BOLD strategy for your future. Do not half step in this area. Don't be afraid to envision your best life ever. Promise and plan out a beautiful, magnificent, prosperous life for you and your family. You deserve it. Yes you do.

Do the best you can and leave the rest to the universe. Trust in the process which you cannot control or ordain. As long as you have the best of intentions for your life, God and the whole universe will conspire to see that you flourish.

Always do the best you can with what life has dispensed to you, for now. And now is all you have. At each phase of your life you must emerge victorious and ready for the next cycle. Don’t hang on to your life phases. Let go and see what happens. Allow the future to come into your life. Bid it a full-sized, loving Bienvenue!

Always be learning or teaching. Be of some service, no matter how simple, to humanity, to a group, to someone. Your own life should offer you great life lessons. However, you have to be willing to deeply examine yourself. Harbor no regrets; instead, love your mistakes. Be willing to value your bloopers, this in turn helps you understand and appreciate yourself. Syphon the lessons out of your faults or blunders, then keep on stepping audaciously... brave, solid, gallant steps, head held up high, big confident smile.

Living a strong life may sometimes mean putting on a brave face. It may mean faking it ‘til you make it. There's nothing wrong with that.

Courage, like Fear is a habit. ~Tony Robbins

Living a strong life has a lot to do with how you perceive yourself, how you define yourself. You cannot let anyone determine or regulate who you are. That's a cheap cop out. It's a defeated way of saying to yourself, "Oh well! I can't help it. I am this way because of what so and so did to me, because they said I was a ....."

Listen to me Kadudu, Not your parents, not your mentors, not your therapist, not your peers, not society, not your partner.....nobody determines your character. You have to be self-made. The danger in relying on others to design you is that your life turns at their every whim.

We are no longer puppets being manipulated by outside powerful forces; we’ve become the powerful force ourselves. ∞ Leo Buscaglia.

What you can do, is derive from life’s best exemplars. Look around you for every day heroes. Look in the papers and magazines for ordinary people doing extra-ordinary stuff. Look at your own family members who are striving and thriving. What are they doing right? Believe in yourself and know in your heart that every day gets you closer and closer to your dream life. Funny, if you think about it: If you’re headed towards the life you’ve dreamed of, if everything you’re doing right now is a means to an end (dream life), then, aren’t you living the dream already?

LIVE STRONG MY DARLING!

Letting Go

Hi my love, In life you are going to have to let go of a lot of stuff. That's right, stuff! 'Coz that's what it is in the long run. Holding things in your heart is guaranteed suffering. Anything that happened in the past has no control over you. Let go of old hurts, old pains, old loves, old experiences, old relationships, old behaviors... let them go. Please believe  an even brighter future awaits you, if only you let go....and let God.

"Letting go gives us freedom, and freedom is the only condition for happiness."
— Thich Nhat Hanh

Letting Go --Author Anon
When you try to control what you are powerless over, you lose control over even what you can manage.

To“Let go” does not mean to stop caring, it means I can’t do it for someone else.

To“Let go” is not to cut myself off, it’s the realization I can’t control consequences.

To“Let go” is not to enable, but to allow learning from natural consequences.

To“Let go” is not to try to change or blame another, it’s to make the most of myself.

Allow God to be as unique
with others as He is with you.
~Joyce Meyer.
To“Let go” is not to fix, but to be supportive.

To“Let go” is not to judge, but to allow another to be a human being.

To“Let go” is not to be in the middle arranging all the outcomes, but to allow others to affect their own destinies.

To“Let go” is not to be protective, it’s to permit another to face reality.

To“Let go” is not to deny, but to accept. Yield!

To“Let go” is not to nag, scold or argue, but instead to search out my own shortcomings and correct them.

To“Let go” is not to adjust everything to my desires but to take each day as it comes, and cherish myself in it.

To“Let go” is not to regret the past, but to grow and live for the future.

To“Let go” is to fear less and love more.

No matter where I am in the world I will carry you in my heart. Auntie loves you!!!
